Abstract
The rapid development of the internet has significantly affected the life activities of both the world of government, business, and other communities. The internet has several characteristics and advantages in the disclosure of information in general, including pervasiveness, knows no boundaries, timely communication and low costs. Internet Financial Reporting is a voluntary disclosure of financial statements through a company website whose quality is measured using the Internet Financial Reporting Index. Law No. 14 of 2008 explains that one of the impoertant elements in recognizing disclosure of information is relating to public interests and influencing the lives of many people. With this regulation public companies must report all information relating to their business through the website of each company, research is to describe the presentation of financial information of state-owned companies in Indonesia by presenting the index of Internet Financial Reporting. This study uses a type of qualitative research with secondary data taken through the website of each BUMN company. This study uses a sample of all state-owned companies in Indonesia with a purposive sampling method that has been observed as many as 2 observations in the period November and Desember 2018. The research result show that there are still many state-owned companies that have not utilized content, timeliness, technology used and user support in on the company’s website well.
