Abstract
Return On Assets (ROA) is a ratio showing the profits obtained from the bank in terms of asset management. Good ROA from time to time should be increased. This does not happen in regional development bank ROA in regional development banks the majority of time decreases. In addition to knowing the bank's performance can be calculated using the Loan to Deposit Ratio, Earning Assets, Non-Performing Loan, Interest Rate Ratio, Operating Expensesand Operating Income, and Net Interest Margin. This study aimed to examine the effect of liquidity, asset quality, sensitivity to market and rentability on the Return on Assets (ROA). In this study using purposive sampling method, to obtain a sample of 6 Regional Development Bank. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results of this study simultaneous liquidity, asset quality, sensitivity to market and rentability significant effect on the Return on Assets (ROA). Partially liquidity as measured by the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) is not a significant positive effect on ROA. Asset quality as measured by Earning Assets (APB) and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) showed that APB not significant negative effect, whereas NPL is not significant positive effect on ROA. Sensitivity to market measured by Interest Rate Ratio (IRR) is not a significant positive effect on ROA. Rentability measured by Operating Expenses and Operating Income (BOPO) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) showed that BOPO is not significant negative effect on ROA, while NIM is significant positive effect on ROA.
