Abstract

Dividend policy is a decision whenther the profits obtained by the company at the end of the year will be distributed to shareholders in the form of dividends or retained earnings to increase capital to finance investment in the future. This study aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership, leverage, profitability and sales growth on dividend policy. The population used in this study are automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Data analysis is processed using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership, leverage and sales growth variabel influence dividend policy, while profitability variables do not affect dividend policy. Keywords : Dividend Policy (DPR), Managerial Ownership (KM), Leverage (DER), Profitability (ROA) and Sales Growth (SG).
