Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze about the market reaction before and after the stock split regulation towards property, real estate, and construction companies that registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange by using Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity (TVA) in the period of 2011-2015. The Sampling of the companies is using purposive sampling method and resulting in four companies that fulfil the criteria. This research is using event study method, which required 60 days of observation after and before the regulation releases. Data analysis method that used in this analysis is Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of this analysis showed that there are no differences of market reaction before the stock split regulation and afterwards toward the property, real estate, and construction companies that registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange by using Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity (TVA).
