Abstract
Capital structure is a balance between the use of own capital with debt that will be used the company to finance its operational activities, so it can be taken into consideration in taking the capital structure policy. Given the factors that affect the company's capital structure, this study is intended to analyze the effect of profitability, growth opportunities, asset structure and business risk on capital structure. The subjects of this study consisted of manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2012-2016 and selected by purposive sampling. The method of data analysis used multiple linear regression. The result of this research is profitability has significant effect to capital structure, growth opportunity has significant effect to capital structure, asset structure has significant effect to capital structure while business risk didn’t has significant effect to capital structure.
