Abstract
Financial management behavior has become a very important role today. With regard to modern life today, every human being also wants to have prosperity for financial management. Prosperity can be obtained through the financial allocator owned. This study aims to examine the effect of Financial Knowledge, Self Control, and Materialism on Employee Financial Management Behavior. The sample consisted of 244 respondents consisting of employees in Surabaya and Sidoarjo with a minimum income of Rp. 4,000,000. The sampling is done by using Purposive Sampling. The data analyses using Multiple Linear Regression in SPSS. The result of this research shows that the Financial Knowledge partial has no significant effect on the Behavior of Financial Management, the Self Control has a significant positive effect on Financial Management Behavior, and Materialism has significant negative effect on Employee Financial Management Behavior.
