Abstract
Saving is a very wise action to meet urgent needs or for the future. This is related to saving behavior in students and especially in Surabaya. This study aims to examine the influence of family financial education and financial knowledge on behavior saving with Locus of Control as a mediating variable. The sample consisted of 427 respondents who had characteristics namely students of business economics and non-economic business study programs in Surabaya. The analytical technique used is PLS-SEM with the help of WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results of this research show that family financial education has a significant positive influence on saving behavior, financial knowledge has a significant positive influence on saving behavior, internal locus of control has a significant positive influence on saving behavior and internal locus of control mediates fully the influence of financial knowledge on saving behavior Key word: Saving Behavior, Financial Knowledge, the influence of family financial education, Locus of Control
