Abstract
The behavior of financial management is very important for individuals. The existence of good financial knowledge will encourage good financial management behavior as well. This study aims to examine the influence of financial knowledge, family financial education, materialism on the behavior of financial management of private employees in Surabaya. There are 127 samples be tested. The sample used is Private Employees in the city of Surabaya. This test uses a questionnaire. With criteria not yet married, and a minimum age of 18 years. Using MRA (Multiple Regression Analysis) analysis techniques, the results significant positive influence financial knowledge and financial management behavior. No significant influence family financial education on financial management behavior. There is no significant negative influence materialism on financial management behavior. Key words: Financial Mangement Behavioral, financial knowledge, Financial Education Family, Materialism.
