Abstract
Debt policy is a policy that needs to be taken by the management to obtain sources of financing for the company. Debt is also one way to obtain funds from external parties. The aims of this research al examining the influence of institutional ownership, firm size, dividend policy on debt policy at manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange research period 2014-2016, so that obtained a sample of 45 companies. The sample selection method uses purposive sampling and analysis methods using SEM-PLS regression analysis. The results of this study conclude institutional ownership, firm size and dividend policy have a significant effect on debt policy. Keywords: Debt Policy, Institutional Ownership, Company Size, and Dividend Policy.
