Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of managerial ownership, profitability, asset structure, and dividend policy on debt policy in property and real estate sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012-2016. The sample of research uses 109 samples of property and real estate companies. This study uses secondary data that has been published. The sampling technique was conducted by purposive sampling using SPSS version 22. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis which was preceded by the classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. Hypothesis testing is done by using F test, coefficient of determination, and t test. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership, profitability, and asset structure have an effect on debt policy, while dividend policy variable has no effect on debt policy.
