Abstract
the purpose of this research is to know and prove the influence of interest rate, price earning ratio, and market value added to stock return. the population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the bei. sampling method is done by purposive sampling method, and based on predetermined criteria, the sample amount is a sample of 19 manufacturing companies in accordance with the criteria during the period 2011 to 2016. the type of research uses quantitative research because in the analysis of research variables using statistics 6 years since year 2011 to 2016. analytical techniques using multiple linear regression using spss 22.0. the results of this study indicate that: 1) simultaneously interest rate, price earning ratio, and market value added significant effect on stock return, 2) interest rate has positive effect not significant to stock return, 3) price earning ratio has no effect on return company, 4) market value added positive effect is not significant to stock return.
