Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the influence of financial knowledge and income to the retirement planning behavior with locus of control as mediation variabel. The number of respondents from this study are 321 respondents which have criteria such as have total family income in every month minimum Rp 4.000.000, at least have worked for two years, live in Surabaya, Gresik and Sidoarjo and become a financial management in a family. The technique to analyze the data use Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM) by using PLS 6.0 program. The results of this study explain that financial knowledge and income have a positive influence to the retirement planning behavior, while locus of control can mediate the influence of financial knowledge and income to the retirement planning behavior.
