Abstract
As the era develops to maintain and boost the company's performance, the company is interested in mergers and acquisitions with emerging companies. One of them is PT. Axis Telekom who do merger / acquisition with PT. XL to become PT. XL Axiata. It is assessed by practitioners and experts of technology as the right solution to save PT. Axis Telecommunications from bankruptcy. With the merger and acquisition conducted by PT. Axis Telekomunikasi hence the purpose of this research is to know condition of company before and after merger. With the measurement of financial performance it can compare and see the benefits of the company merged. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with secondary data source in the form of company financial report. The results of the calculation of the 6 ratios show that the difference can be seen from the standard deviation before and after the merger that experienced a decrease in performance after the company merged. Suggestions for improving financial performance are increasing revenues and reducing the burden to increase the company's profit.
