Abstract

The importance of accounting science is now beginning to be felt among many other users of accounting services and universities. In order to get an accountant who has a high capability of the role of accountant educators is essential. Accounting educators must also in great need of professionalism is quite high. Professionalism accountant educators are supported with complete competence in order to transfer knowledge, so that the accountants who produced a quality and reasonably sufficient competence in performing accounting functions. Based on above description of the study will examine whether the GPA student, parent education level and income level of the parents have different perceptions of students about the professionalism of educators accountant. The sample used is a student majoring in accounting STIE Perbanas Surabaya of 2008 and 2009. The analytical method used is to use Two Way Anova. Based on the analysis, concluded that based on the GPA concluded that there is a difference in the professionalism of accountants that is where the perception of the best educators on students with the highest GPA of 3.51 up to 4:00. Meanwhile, if viewed from the level of parental education and pengahsilan perception given by the students tend to be the same. Key words : Professionalism, GPA, Parental Education, Parental Salary
