Abstract
This study examines the factors that influence the performance of AIS. Involve users in the system development process, the ability of IS personal technique, organization size, top management support, formalization of IS development, user education and training programs, existence of the steering board of the IS, and location of IS department of the factors that influence the performance of SIA to the satisfaction of users of the system information and user system usage as a replacement for the performance of AIS. There are sixty respondents who worked in a bank from 60 banks in the area of Surabaya. Using multiple regression test and Mann-Whitney U test, this study shows that that top management support and location of a separate department of SI (independent) has positive and significant impact on user satisfaction of information systems. Otherwise, hypotheses for the involve users in the system development process, the ability of IS personal technique, organization size, top management support, formalization of IS development, user education and training programs, existence of the steering board of the IS, and location of IS department were not supported.
