Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the perceptions of accounting students towards syariah accounting in operational Islamic banks. In this study, the perceptions of students as measured by the three components namely cognitive affective and conative also Islamic banking operations seen in terms of characteristics, accounting information and services products. The object of these research were accouting students who have programmed attended courses or being Islamic banking accounting. There were 50 students partisipating as respondent from STIE Perbanas Surabaya. Data analysis of this research using analysis descriptive from observation and questionnairewith accounting students. The result shows that from 50 students who become the respondents, there were only 4 students aren't interested in Islamic banking, respondents who are interested in Islamic banks also assess tallying Islamic banks currently operating in particular in the city of Surabaya.
