Abstract
The Company has long-term goal is to maximize shareholder wealth. Maximizing shareholder wealth can be reached by maximizing the present value. Value of the company is one of the objectives of the company by way of maximizing the value of the stock. There are several factors that affect the value of the company, but the authors only examined five variables, of profitability, capital structure, firm size, liquidity, and investment opportunity on the value of the company. This study aimed to examine the effect of profitability, capital structure, firm size, liquidity, and investment opportunity on the value of the company. This study population is listed manufacturing industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 - 2015. Sampling method with purposive sampling method, with some predetermined criteria, the number of samples is 52 manufacturing companies. Data analysis techniques used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that , it indicates that the proftability, capital structure, firm size, and investment opportunity has effect on firm value. Liquidity has not effect on firm value.
