Abstract
This study is aimed to analyze the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, dividend policy, and size of company towards debt policy on manufacturing companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), year of 2013-2015.This study uses a managerial ownership, institutional ownership, dividend policy, and size of company as the independent variables; while the dependent variable is debt policy.The data used is the population of manufacturing companiesin 2013-2015.By using purposive sampling, it is obtained 96 companies that meet the criteria of the sample.After employing outlier-observation, the sample obtained is 84 samples.The model analysis used is regression analysis.The result of this study shows that managerial ownership has effect on the debt policy.Meanwhile, institutional ownership, dividend policy, and the size of the company do not have any impact on the debt policy.The age and the cash flow of company are suggested to be analyzed as subsequent research in the future as development research with an expanded sample.
