Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the liquidity ratio (cash ratio), leverage (debt to equity ratio), profitability (return on investment) and the structure of assets to the dividend policy (payout ratio) in listed manufacturing company in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2010- 2014. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling so as obtained 21 companies that meet the criteria of the sample. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. Results of this study showed that variables of Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Investment and structure of assets simultaneously have significant effect to the Dividend Payout Ratio. The variables of Cash Ratio and Return On Investment in partially have positive effect not significant to the Dividend Payout Ratio, variable of structure of asset in partially have negative effect not significant to the Dividend Payout Ratio, but variable of Debt to Equity Ratio in partially have negative and significant effect to the Dividend Payout Ratio.
