Abstract
Internal control in a company is very important to secure the company's assets. Internal control especially for finished goods inventory needed because finished goods inventory related to the circulation of goods in the company that will generate income so as to ensure the going concern of the company . The object of this study in a food manufacturing company, it is CV Juke Abadi . This study uses five basic elements of internal control from COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organization of the Treadway Commission). The results showed that of the five basic elements of internal control applied to the company, only control activities elements that have performed less well. It can be seen from the system of division and separation of duties. Control environment, risk assessment, information and communication, and monitoring has been carried out by the company well. Expected for the future of the internal control system of finished goods inventory can be improved so that the company can get better in running operations Key words : internal control, finished goods stock.
