Abstract
Efficiency level of a bank can be measured using some financial aspect ratios such as aspects of liquidity, asset quality aspects, and aspects of sensitivity. Aspects of liquidity is the ability of banks to meet short term obligations or liabilities which have maturity. The ratio used is a loan to deposit ratio (LDR) and investing policy ratio (IPR). In addition, aspects of asset quality. To measure the quality of bank assets of which one can use productive assets such as APB, non performing loan (NPL) and PPAP. Aspects of sensitivity used is the ratio of interest rate risk (IRR). This research uses secondary data taken from published financial statements of seven foreign exchange bank in period 2008 to 2011. The data is the processed using the test of statistic as an analytical to test the research hypothesis, namely by using linear regression analysis to determine the influential variables in accordance with the theory. F test to determine the effect of simultaneously all the variables and the t test to determine the effect of the partial of each variable. Based on the results of data processing, LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, PPAP, dan IRR simultaneously have significant influence on the efficiency of the foreign exchange bank. Individually, from the sixth ratio theres is only one ratio which significantly affect the PPAP. Keyword: Efficiency, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Investing Policy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, and Interest Rate Ratio xiv
