Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on employee performance of the financial services company X Surabaya. Variable used TQM is focused on the customer, continuous improvement, employee involvement, reward systems and a commitment to quality. The sampling technique used in this study using purposive sampling method. Data were collected using data gathered by questionnaire. Processing data using SPSS 21.00. Results from the study showed that the variable TQM consists of focusing on the customer, continuous improvement and employee involvement has a significant effect on employee performance. While TQM variable consisting of the award system and a commitment to quality does not have a significant effect on employee performance.
