Abstract
The purposive of this research to examine the direct influence of Intellectual Capital on Firm Value and Profit Growth test as a mediating influence on the value of Intellectual Capital companies that go public banking sector in Indonesia. This research uses purposive sampling as a sampling technique, the subject’s research received as many as 69 companies from 2008 until 2010. Secondary data are used in this research obtained from official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (ISE), Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD), and the world of investing websites that provide information of stock price. Analysis techniques used in this research are path analysis methods.The results showed that the Intellectual capital does not have a significant direct influence and Profit Growth company does not mediate the influence of Intellectual Capital on Firm Value. Keywords: intellectual capital, firm value, profit growth, intervening variable.
