Abstract

The purpose of this research is to seek antecedent factors formed relationship quality and benefit expected by Micro Enterprise’s bank customers on having their credit services. The data were collected using questionnaires. It was spread to Micro Banking customers in three different areas: city, urban and sub-urban. The data is 150. All data were analyzed together using factor analysis and then analyzed using discriminant analysis to seek any determining variables, which are able to differenciate the relationship quality and benefit expected by Micro Enterprise’s bank customers in city, urban and sub-urban. Therefore, the research is limited on Micro Enterprise’s bank customers who are having credit service from Micro Banking in city, urban and sub-urban. City is represented by Surabaya, urban is represented by Sidoarjo, and sub-urban is represented by Mojokerto. The finding is there were different factors determining relationship quality and benefit based on the area. The discriminant analysis showed that there are different factors determining relationship quality expected but there are no different factors determining benefit in city, urban and sub-urban. The result of this study provides strategic options for Micro Banking industry to develop their Micro Enterprise’s market based on areas.
