Abstract

Islamic banks need fresh funds for financing or funding, therefore Islamic banks needs deposits. Third party funds are funds collected from the community that can be utilized by Islamic banks to then be distributed back to the community. Third party funding source is the most important source of funds for the banking operations and is a measure of the success of the bank if it is able to finance its operations from this funding source. This study aimed to determine the effect of profit sharing certificates wadiah Indonesian banks, and the rate of inflation to third party funds. Independen variables used in this study is the result, SWBI, and the rate of inflation, while the dependent variable used is a third-party funds. Sampling using purposive sampling. The number of samples used end of this study is 3 Islamic banks quarterly period beginning in 2009-2011. Engineering analysis using multiple linear regression. Linear regression result indicate there is no effect on third party funds only variable inflation rate. While the outcome variable and SWBI showed significant results and there is an influence on third party funds.
