Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and digital literacy on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Surabaya area with gender as a moderating variable. The research method used was quantitative with purposive sampling techniques to determine the research sample. The respondents used in this study were 102 MSME actors who applied Islamic financial principles. Data analysis was performed using SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that: 1) Islamic financial literacy had a positive but insignificant effect on MSME performance. 2) Entrepreneurial skills had a significant positive effect on MSME performance. 3) Digital literacy had a positive but insignificant effect on MSME performance. 4) Gender does not moderate the influence of Islamic financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and digital literacy on improving MSME performance. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that entrepreneurial skills are a variable that has a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in the Surabaya city. Researchers and MSMEs practitioners are advised to focus on strengthening entrepreneurial skills by adding other supporting variables and expanding the scope and characteristics of the sample. MSME actors are advised to prioritize the development of entrepreneurial skills, without neglecting the improvement of Islamic financial literacy and digital literacy in everyday life, in order to support MSMEs performance improvement.
