Abstract

The growth of digital technology, such as automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, has significantly changed the way accountants work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of digital literacy, accounting skills, and internship experience on the job readiness of accounting students at universities in East Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative method with a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and analyzed using SmartPLS software. This study used two main data analysis approaches, namely descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the variables of digital literacy, accounting expertise, and internship experience have a significant and positive effect on the job readiness of accounting students. The implications of this study indicate that digital literacy, accounting skills, and internship experience are important factors that need to be considered in preparing accounting students for the world of work. Therefore, educational institutions should strengthen their curricula by integrating digital technology, accounting practices, and internship programs so that graduates are highly competitive.
