Abstract

in the modern era, attention to sustainability and social responsibility is increasingly growing, especially among Generation Z, who were born between 1996 and 2010. This generation has grown up in a highly connected digital environment, shaping their views on the workplace and the importance of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in supporting sustainability practices. This study aims to explore the relationship between Green Human Resource Management, organizational identification, job satisfaction, and OCB among Generation Z employees in Surabaya. Despite a high level of awareness regarding sustainability, there are still challenges in enhancing employee participation in green initiatives. Through an integrated approach, this research provides recommendations to improve employee engagement, including comprehensive training programs, rewards for employees, and a supportive work environment. These findings are expected to contribute significantly to the sustainability of organizations and create a culture responsive to environmental issues.
