Abstract
The value of a company is the investor's perception of the company's condition. The purpose of this study is to examine and describe the influence of good corporate governance, as proxied by the audit committee, managerial ownership, independent commissioners, and firm size, on the firm’s value. The sample consists of 67 data points from consumer goods non-cyclical companies selected using purposive sampling criteria. The analysis techniques used are the F-test and multiple linear regression with a t-test for hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that good corporate governance proxied by the audit committee partially has a positive and significant effect on firm value, whereas good corporate governance proxied by managerial ownership, independent commissioners, and firm size has an insignificant effect on company value.
