Abstract

The rapid development of digital payment technology has driven changes in transaction behavior, especially among accounting students who run businesses. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, and financial literacy on the interest in using digital payment technology among entrepreneurial accounting students in Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 114 accounting students in Surabaya who own businesses. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and analyzed using SPSS 25 software. The results of this study found that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use had a positive and significant effect on the interest in using digital payment technology. Meanwhile, trust and financial literacy did not have a significant effect on the interest in using digital payment technology. The implications of this study indicate that accounting students who are entrepreneurs are more interested in using digital payment technology because of its usefulness and ease of use, so that related parties can improve digital payment technology services to support ease of transactions and business financial recording.
