Abstract
This study aims to determine the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the shift work system at Toko Berkah Jaya Indah Electric. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the shift work system had been applied in the store informally, without a written SOP as a standard guideline for employees. This condition led to a lack of clarity in work hour arrangements, adjustment of break times, and the potential for mismatch with the store's operational needs. The recommendation for implementing the shift work SOP is the need to establish a written SOP in accordance with labor regulations to create work efficiency and comfort for both employees and the business owner. In addition, it is recommended to use a digital attendance system so that attendance recording becomes more accurate, efficient, and reduces potential errors compared to manual recording.
