Abstract

This study entitled “The Influence of Liquidity, Asset Quality, Sensitivity to Market Risk, Efficiency, and Profitability toward Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of Regional Development Bank in Indonesia”. The formulation of the problem in the research is wether the LDR, LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR, ROA, ROE, and NIM simultaneously have a significant influence toward CAR. And wether the LDR, LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR, ROA, ROE, and NIM effect of partially have a significant influence toward CAR. The purpose of the study is to determine the significancy level of independent variables’ effect toward dependent variable (CAR). This research explains how the independent variables causing the dependent variable. Independent variables are LDR, LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR, ROA, ROE, and NIM, while the independent variable is CAR. The method of sampling is purposive, where there are six regional development banks chosen as research samples. The research samples are Bank DKI, Bank Aceh, Bank Nagari (BPD Sumatera Barat), BPD Jawa Tengah, BPD Papua, and BPD Riau Kepri. And the technique used in this research is multiple linier regression. The results of this research are; LDR, LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR, ROA, ROE, and NIM simultaneously have a significant influence on CAR. Partially LDR, IPR, BOPO, and ROA have a significant influence toward CAR, but the other side happened to LAR, APB, NPL, IRR, FBIR, ROE, and NIM which didn’t make a prove to have a significant level toward CAR. And the last result, the dominant variable which influencing CAR is ROE. Key words: Regional Development Bank, Liquidity, Asset Quality, Sensitivity to Market Risk, Efficiency, Profitability, and Solvability.
