Abstract
This study examines the relationship between raw materials and labor on the improvement of production performance in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) bag industry in Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo Regency. Raw materials represent the company's transparency in informing the environmental impact of its business operations, while labor measures the efficiency of the company's resources. This research study focuses on one of the potential business sectors, encompassing 812 SMEs in the bag industry, based on data from the DINKOP and DISPERINDAG for the years 2016-2018. The research analysis methods used include data reduction analysis and interviews as the objects of study. The results of this study reveal that raw materials and labor can be factors in improving production performance in the bag industry.
