Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and financial attitudes on the personal financial management of students, with self-efficacy as a moderating variable. The research method employed in this study is a quantitative research method, utilizing primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires both online and offline, measured using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The population in this study consists of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya, sampled using Purposive Sampling. The total sample size for this research is 167 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS, employing the WarpPLS 8 application. The research results indicate that financial literacy significantly influences the personal financial management of students, financial attitudes significantly influence the personal financial management of students, self-efficacy does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and personal financial management of students, and self-efficacy does not moderate the relationship between financial attitudes and personal financial management of students.
