Abstract

Problems with the company's financial performance that occur in Indonesia have attracted the attention of various parties. These problems were experienced by several manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which experienced continuous losses in recent years. This can be influenced by the variables that will be examined in this study, namely the disclosure of risk management, the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, the board of directors, institutional ownership and company size. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of risk management disclosure, board of commissioners, independent commissioners, board of directors, institutional ownership and firm size on financial performance. The sample used in this study were 100 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018. The results showed that the disclosure of risk management, the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, and the board of directors had no effect on financial performance, while institutional ownership and firm size had a positive effect on financial performance.
