Abstract

Purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the decrease in Return On Assets at Non-Foreign Exchange National Private Bank (BUSN). This study also aims to determine whether LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, BOPO and FBIR have a significant effect on ROA. Data collection methods used in this study are documentation with secondary data taken from financial statements published in the period I quarter 2014 to quarter IV 2018. Data analysis techniques used in this study are multiple regression analysis, descriptive, F test, and t test. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling method, so that the selected research sample: PT. Bank Jasa Jakarta, PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, and PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen. The results shows that simultaneously LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, BOPO, FBIR have significant effect toward ROA. Partially, six of independent variables have no significant effect on the dependent variable ROA those are LDR, IPR, APB, IRR, NPL, and FBIR, while the variables with significant effect are LDR and BOPO and dominantly influence toward ROA is variable BOPO.
