Abstract

The history of banking refers to the emergence of the bank as a public place to exchange money to become a place for savings and loan transactions. The purpose of this research is to analyze Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Non Performing Earning Asset (APB), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Net Open Position (PDN) , Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR), Operational Cost of Operating Income (BOPO) and Cost to Income Ratio (CIR) to Return On Assets (ROA) simultaneously and partially. The research period is the second quarter of 2016 to the third quarter of 2021. The subject of this research is the Foreign Exchange Conventional Regional Development Bank. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, the Bali Regional Development Bank, and the West Sumatra Regional Development Bank. This study uses secondary data and data collection is documentation. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear analysis. The results of this study explain 1) LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, FIR, BOPO, and CIR simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA. 2) LDR, IPR, APB, PDN, and FBIR partially have no significant negative effect on ROA. 3) BOPO partially has a significant negative effect on ROA 4) CIR partially has an insignificant positive effect on ROA. 5) BOPO is the most dominant variable on ROA. Keywords: Liquidity, Asset Quality, Sensitivity, Efficiency, Profitability, Foreign Exchange Regional Development Banks.
