Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of financial ratio on the profitability of Conventional Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The financial ratios used are Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adversely Classified Asset (ACA), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Net Open Position (NOP) and Operating Cost of Operationg Income. The profitability is measured by Return on Equity (ROE). The sampling method in this study is purposive sampling. This study used three banks as sample, they are PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk; PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The period of study is the first quarter 2017 until the fourth quarter 2021. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study revealed that LDR, LAR, NPL, ACA, IRR, NOP and Operating Cost of Operating Income have a significant effect on ROE, simultaneously. LDR and IRR, partially, have a positive significant on ROE. NPL and NOP partiallyl have a negative significant on ROE. LAR, ACA and Operating Cost of Operating have no significant on ROE, partially.
