Abstract
Financial management is an effort made by a person in designing activities related to the storage and control of finances. This study seeks to examine the impact of financial literacy, income, and lifestyle on the financial management of young workers in Probolinggo. The number of respondents from this study was 148, with the criteria of young workers domiciled in Probolinggo who are 18-30 years old who have graduated from high school or equivalent and have a minimum income of IDR 2,200,000 per month. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling. This study uses quantitative data with young workers in Probolinggo as a population. The data were collected using a survey method by distributing questionnaires online. This study’s analysis technique is Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The results of the study show that in Probolinggo, income had a significant positive effect on the financial management of young workers. Sufficient income makes it easier for individuals to manage their finances for emergency fund needs, insurance, even for future funding needs. This has implications for young workers in Probolinggo to further increase their income so that they are more optimal in carrying out their financial management.
