Abstract
Conventional banking has actually experienced a very strong competition in the society . This is because the effect of macro factors that make conventional banking economy always fluctuates. But not for Islamic banking that always puts the principle of sharing . This study aims to determine whether macroeconomic variables also affect the profitability of Islamic banking by total revenue include Murabaha , Musharaka and Ijara . This study used a simple linear regression with the object of research is Islamic banking in Indonesia which publishes a monthly report in sequence from years 2010-2012 where the data contained in the financial statements that will be tested is the total revenue murabaha , Musharaka and Ijara . The results showed that the macro variables also affect the total revenue Murabaha , Musharaka , Ijara and on Islamic banking in Indonesia is significantly positive and negative . Given these results , it will be a lot of people are getting a glance at Islamic banking in managing the economy as it is considered constant and stable country in a state of ever-fluctuating economy .
