Abstract
Non Performing Financing (NPF) is an indicator of the health of a bank’s asset quality in managing distribution of financing. This study aims to examine the effect of Bank Size, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Inflation, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and Exchange Rates (Exchange Rate). The sample consists of 13 Islamic commercial banks during the 6 year observation period. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously bank size, capital adequacy, inflation, gross domestic product, and the exchange rate have a significant positive effect on financing risk (NPF). Meanwhile, partially bank size and capital adequacy have a significant negative effect on financing risk. Inflation, gross domestic product and the exchange rate have an insignificant negative effect on financing risk (NPF). Keywords: Bank Size, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Inflation, Gross Domestic Product, and Exchange Rates
