Abstract
This study aims to examine and find out specially the influence of related variables, information sequence (good news followed by bad news and bad news followed by good news) and information series (long series and short series) on the presentation patterns Self review Debiaser based on accounting information in investment decision making. The design of experiment used in this study is design experiment factorial 2 x 2 mixed design (between subject and within subject) that manipulates the independent variable information sequence (good news followed by bad news and bad news followed by good news) and information series (long series and short series) of presentation patterns Self review Debiaser. Participants in this study were 124 S1 Accounting Students of STIE Perbanas Surabaya. This study uses the normality test, and the Mann Whitney test. The overall results of the hypothesis are partially supported (partially hold). The results of this study indicate that presentation patterns Self review Debiaser is proven to reduce the effect of sequence on long information series. However, presentation patterns Self review Debiaser has proven unable to reduce the effect of sequence on short information series.
